The Provider may invalidate results, block access, or annul a test when unusual or suspicious activity is detected, including but not limited to: use of unauthorized materials, identity fraud, copying or sharing test content, manipulation of time limits, deliberate inactivity to reveal questions, or any attempt to gain an unfair advantage. In such cases, the test is deemed invalid, no refund applies, and a new purchase and/or supervised test may be required.

7. Test Access, Number of Attempts, and Link Expiration

Attempts: each test allows a maximum of three (3) access attempts. Once this limit is reached, access is blocked and the User must contact evaluations@idiomacr.com to request access reset. An additional access will be granted only if the test is not recorded as completed.

Link Expiration: the access link is sent via email and is valid for one (1) month from the purchase date. Upon User request, one (1) additional reset for one month may be granted. If the User does not complete the test within this second period, the right to use the purchase is forfeited, and a new purchase will be required to take the test.

In the event of technical issues, the BELT evaluations team may, at its discretion, reset the test from the point where the issue occurred. A reset does not imply the right to a refund. Common issues include, often due to User bandwidth limitations:

  • Sudden loss of internet connection or power/equipment failure
  • Audio files not playing or images not loading properly
  • System messages indicating unanswered questions when that is not the case
  • Absence of visible remaining time
  • Unexpected test closure

Likewise, in cases of erroneous purchases (incorrect test type or language), each case will be reviewed according to these terms and the evidence provided by the User. Refunds are not authorized, and any adjustment, when applicable, will be made through reassignment or access reset.

10. Personal Information Form and Data Protection

The personal information form must be completed with the data of the person who will take the test. The person providing the information is responsible for ensuring its accuracy, truthfulness, and currency; the access link and digital certificate will be issued based on this information. Once the purchase is completed, it is not possible to change the data or transfer the test to third parties.
