Our Story

Our goal of providing corporate English programs, accompanied by high-level language assessments, did not happen overnight. It is a 25-year journey of work with optimal results in Costa Rica, Latin America, and the rest of the world.

The Beginning

In 1999, Idioma Internacional was born. This significant project emerged in response to the growing demand for bilingual staff from local and international companies in Costa Rica. Our business quickly established itself as a leader in English training, especially in the corporate sector.

Service Expansion

It was only a matter of time before our offerings expanded. Shortly after, we broadened our English course service. Our results speak for themselves, with numerous success stories. This allowed us to train thousands of individuals in English over the years.

BELT Test and Online Courses

Over time, we found a space to teach our online English course. Among these innovations is the introduction of the BELT test. It marked a milestone in innovation for us. This test enabled companies and government entities to evaluate candidates and collaborators in English, French, and Portuguese simultaneously.

Our Present

By 2018, we launched our online English courses for businesses and became an international team. Today, we continue to lead corporate training projects, supporting bilingual initiatives through governmental and non-governmental collaborations in Costa Rica. We focus on assisting companies in the highest level of bilingual academic settings.
